Subject/Title of Window: Christ the Healer

Brief Description of Subject: We see our Lord healing the blind, both physically and spiritually. Jesus is surrounded by blanket of flower. Above are the sick coming to Him. In the lower sections are rays of divine love descending upon a child. On either side are the cross potent (crossed crutches) symbols of the sick and portray crossed crutches.

The main part of the window shows our Lord healing the blind, both physically and spiritually. Surrounding Jesus are blankets of flowers symbolic to nature and the universality of the Divine Physician. The upper part of the window depicts the sick and lame coming to Him, giver of life and health.

As the inscription read, Ann Bartholomew loved and served God. The family also loved music. Ann was a member of the choir, and their daughter Dian was trained as an organist. The window was given by Ann’s husband, Louis Bartholomew.
