Subject/Title of Window: St. Ladislaus

Brief Description of Subject: Background: St. Ladislaus (c1040 - 1095) had a Hungarian father and a Polish mother. He became King of Hungary. He is best known for his efforts to root out paganism and bringing Catholicism to Croatia. St. Ladislaus died while preparing for the First Crusade.

Description of window: St. Ladislaus is costumed in a purple (royalty) tunic and a kingly cape and crown. He is carrying a book -- brought word of God to Croatia. In his right hand is a palm frond probably symbolizing death in the service (crusade) of God.

Inscription: There was a donor inscription but not visible on available photo.
