Brief Description of Subject: This decorative aisle window was designed to let light into the Church. It is in the shape of a lit candle symbolizing Jesus --- "I am the light of the world," John 8:12. The window features two shields with symbols.
Symbols used:
Crown of Thorns and nails: Two of the instruments of the Passion --- symbols of the Crucifixion.
Olive Tree: Symbol for the "Agony in the Garden" which took place at the Mount of Olives on Tuesday of Passion week.
