Subject/Title of Window: Reconciliation

Brief Description of Subject: Genesis 8:11 “And the dove came in to him in the evening, and lo in her mouth was an olive leaf plucked off, so Noah knew the waters were abated from off the earth.” The dove and the rainbow are symbols of God’s forgiveness of man’s sin. But God’s greatest gift of reconciliation is symbolized by the pink rose. This rose is a sign of the Virgin Mother of Christ the Savior. It is through Him that all sin is forgiven and the ultimate reconciliation between God and man is accomplished.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.

All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.

If you have any questions, additions or corrections, or think you can provide better images and are willing to share them, please contact donald20@msu.edu
