Building Notes: All of the nave windows are designed and made by Charles J. Connick Assoicates of Boston in a manner that is traditionally medieval. They hark back to the thirteenth century, a period in which most people could not tead and had to rely on pictures to learn Bible stories. Churches abounded in stained glass and sculpture which told the story of redemption, and even the walls were painted with such scenes. In the stylized and vital art of the Middle Ages people learned of the towering figures of the Old and New Testaments.

The tradition of placing the patriarchs and prophets who prepared the way for Christ on the north side of a church and the Apostles who witnessed to him on the south side is observed in the arrangement of the windows at All Saints.
