Brief Description of Subject: On the left the bread and pitcher represent life and thirst. On the right is the vine and grapes. It is emblematic of the union of our Lord and his followers. The wine from the grapes represents the blood of Christ that was shed for humanity. These beautiful symbols represent the sacraments of Holy Communion Jesus shared with is disciples at the Last Supper.
