Brief Description of Subject: The theme of the three windows in the East balcony is the parables of Jesus. Upper circle: includes wounded man, good Samaritan and his oil and wine bottles, symbols of his pity and assistance to the victim of thieves. Background: Priest and Levite who ignored the victim, the city of Jerusalem and the beast of burden. (Luke 10:29-37) The window depicts Luke 10:29-37. The upper circle shows the Good Samaritan, the oil and wine bottle symbolizing his pity and assistance to the victim. In the background are the priest and Levite, who ignored the victim, the city of Jerusalem and the beast of burden. The lower panel depicts the oil and wine vessels.
