Brief Description of Subject: The Beatitudes of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount (Matt: 5:3-11, Luke 6:20-27) Upper part: The young Christ preaches in the temple, older learned men on either side. The lamp of knowledge, an open book, the scales of justice, and tablets symbolizing the Ten Commandments. Below: Flint scenes: The Robert T. Longway Planetarium and the logo of the College and Cultural Development Center. The window depicts a youthful Christ preaching among doctors in the temple. The images in the bottom are the lamp of knowledge,an open book, the scales of justice and tablets symbolic of the ten commandments.
