Subject/Title of Window: God the Holy Spirit

Brief Description of Subject: The eight north windows represent the development of Christian beliefs and the Christian church prior to the Reformation. Dove in center symbolizes the Holy Spirit. Flames at either side symbolize gift of Holy Spirit as described in Pentecost experience in Acts. Smaller symbols at bottom represent Jesus’ mother’s experience with Holy Spirit at Annunciation and Jesus’ own experience at his baptism and transfiguration. The major symbol of The Holy Spirit is the dove portrayed in the center of the window. The flames symbolize the gift of the Holy Spirit as described in The Pentecost experience in Acts. The smaller symbols at the bottom left represent Jesus’ mother’s experience with the Holy Spirit at The Annunciation, and Jesus’ own experience at his baptism and transfiguration.
