Brief Description of Subject: Christ’s great mission, the Redemption of Man. The eight north windows represent the development of Christian beliefs and the Christian Church prior to the Reformation. Central symbol is the lamb with chalice and globe (Earth). Three additional symbols are Nativity, Crucifixion, Resurrection. Body in tomb is Adam, symbolizing that all men are sinners and in need of Savior who is Christ. In the window is portrayed Christ’s great mission-The Redemption of Man. The central symbol is the lamb with the chalice and globe (Earth). The three additional symbols are Nativity,Crucifixtion, and Resurrection. The body lying in the tomb is that of Adam, who symbolizes the fact that all men are sinners and in need of the Savior who is Christ. Central hand of God and days of Creation: 1st day: dividing light from darkness; 2nd day: Dividing water from firmament; 3rd day: Creation of fruits and herbs; 4th day: Creation of celestial bodies; 5th day: creation of creatures in water; 6th day: creation of animals and man; 7th day: rest and worship
