Subject/Title of Window: The Good Shepherd and Lambs

Brief Description of Subject: Placed in the center of one of the Church’s Alter side, this large window shows a reporuction of The Good Shepherd painting by Bernard Plockhorst. Depicted is a Shepherd with Lambs in a wooded area. Jesus holds the staff, and carries a baby lamb. There is a crown above the center and a floral design. The Artist, John Raleigh learned his artistic skill after being sent by the government to a training center after WWI. In “A Love Story”: “As John had only had a third grade education, the government sent him to a skill center in Saginaw where he learned to do stained glass. He did the windows for both St. Michael’s now in the vestibule, and for the Montrose Methodist Church”
