Subject/Title of Window: Dominican Shield and Motto

Brief Description of Subject: In the center of the transom is the Dominican Shield. It shows a mountain with a star on top of it. Under the star and Crisscrossed over the mountain is a spray of lilies on the right and tree branches on the left. On the right side of the shield there is a dog with a torch in its mouth and on the left side there is a globe with a cross above it. Veritas (truth) is written on the scroll. A rosary is draped at the bottom of the shield and under the rosary in another scroll with Laudare-Benedicite et Predicare (to praise, to bless, to preach) written on it. Surrounding the shield is a clover shaped frame with three symmetrical designs with ties the circle at three midpoints.
