Subject/Title of Window: Nativity

Brief Description of Subject: The entire window pictures the stable where Jesus was born and is done in four panels. In the left panel shows three shepherds. The next panel shows Joseph standing and Mary kneeling holding her hands out to the Baby in the manger. One angel is kneeling beside the manger. The next panel shows an angel is standing with two shepherds beside him. In the front of them is an older shepherd kneeling between two shepherds boys. In the next panel it shows the three kings with a star over head. The kings in the background are both holding gifts. In the center at the top in a circular frame are three angels holding a banner which reads: “Gloria in Excelsis Deo”. Under the angels on the left in a circular frame is the symbol of Mark the Evangelist showing a lion and a man holding a book with a plume in his hand. On the right circular frame is the symbol of John the Evangelist showing an old man with a plume and an angel holding the book for the man. Under these figures and directly above the nativity scene are two angels in circular frames: the one on the left is playing a harp and the one on the right is playing a stringed instrument.
