Subject/Title of Window: St. Thomas Aquinas
Brief Description of Subject: St. Thomas Aquinas is standing in front of a book on an ambo. Beside the book is a bottle of ink. A quill is in his right hand and his left hand is resting on the book. It seems as if he stopped writing and is gazing at the Crucifix. There is a stream of light emanating from the cross with the following words “Bene de me scipsti Thoma” (write well of me Thomas.) A dove is pictured at the right side of Thomas’ head. On the floor in a green book entitled”Summa Theologica” and “Summa Philosophica” as well as a scroll. Behind Thomas is a large opened book which is believed to be the Bible. At the top is a window with a monstrance with a host in it. Written on the Host are the letters HIS (Jesus).
