Subject/Title of Window: Window of Christs intimate Ministry
Brief Description of Subject: The times that are shown are when Jesus left the multitudes to speak to one or two people which are referred to as his “intimate ministry”. The window depicts three of these occasions. At the top of this window is a T shaped Tau Cross and a basket. This is the symbol of the apostle Philip. Below this Christ meets Samaritan the woman at the well. Below this scene Christ is at the house of Mary and Martha. Mary sits listening at Christ’s feet while a busy Martha complains that Mary is not helping prepare the food. Directly below this is a scroll of prophecy with a pen and inkwell. At the bottom of the panel is Christ answering the questions of Nicodemus, a teacher of Israel, who came to Christ at night.
