Building Name: Pilgrim Church (formerly Trumbull Avenue Presbyterian Church)

City: Detroit

Window Shape: 6 (gothic arched, more than 2 vertical sections)

Subject/Title of Window: Mary Magdalene?

Brief Description of Subject: Arched window, with four lancets and tracery. There are three windows of this type in the church. A balcony has been built since, blocking parts of them from view. This portion of this window appears to depict Jesus and St. Mary Magdalene on the left, and Jesus, St. Mary Magdalene, and her sister St. Martha on the right. Far right appears to be a smoking altar. Far left cannot be made out. Each picture has writing beneath it on the scrolls, but they cannot be read. The current pastor has heard that they were made in England, but there is no documentation.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.

All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.
