Building Name: St. Paul's United Methodist ChurchCity: Rochester
Window Shape: 2 (rectangle)
Subject/Title of Window: Robe
Brief Description of Subject: This robe is representative of St. John the Baptist. He reminds people of their accountability to God. St. John wore a robe made out of animal hair and hide, but he wore it inside out; all of the lice on the hair bit at his skin. St. John knew, though, that his suffering did not compare to the suffering of his Lord.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.
All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.
