Brief Description of Subject: Jesus is baptized by John in Jordan. The staff of the Baptist terminates in a cross lacking one arm to show that the Crucifixion had not yet occurred. The Holy Spirit descends in the form of a dove. Below are doves which were the ransom paid for the Holy Child at His presentation in the Temple. Designed by Marguerite Gaudin
