Subject/Title of Window: Thomas

Brief Description of Subject: fter His resurrection, Christ appeared several times to groups of His apostles. Once this happened when Thomas was not present. When told of the experience Thomas exclaimed that he could not believe unless he would see Christ for himself and touch the very wound prints. Christ did not condemn this honest doubt but instead, appeared again holding out His hands to show the proofs. Thomas made a confession of his faith “My Lord, and my God!” Then Christ said that those in the future ages who could believe without seeing would be more blessed. Thomas’ symbols are a spear, instrument of his martyrdom, and a carpenter’s square. He build a church in India with his own hands and is thus considered the patron saint of builders.
