Brief Description of Subject: The Boy Jesus Found in the Temple is the fifth of seven windows situated on the Gospel side of the Church. Each features one of the Seven Joys of Mary.
The Holy Family had gone to Jerusalem for the Passover and on their way back, noticed their child was missing. Frantically searching for three days, they found him in the Temple amongst the scholars who were astonished at his wisdom.
Picture, below the scholars, is the exchange between Jesus and his mother:
"And seeing him, they wondered. And his mother said to him: Son, why hast thou done so to us? And he said to them: How is it that you sought me? did you not know that I must be about my father's business." Luke 2:48 - 49 ( Douay-Rheims)
