Subject/Title of Window: The Harvest is Great, the Laborers Few, and The Canaanite Woman's Faith

Brief Description of Subject: The aisle windows illuminate Christ's words from the Gospels. This aisle window is located on the south side. All quotes are from the NRSVCE bible, and the words illuminated in capitals.
 
Top Scene: The Harvest is Great, the Laborers Few, Matthew 9:35 - 38:
 
"Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and curing every disease and every sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. THEN HE SAID TO HIS DISCIPLES, 'THE HARVEST IS PLENTIFUL, BUT THE LABORERS FEW; therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.' "
 
Bottom Scene: The Canaanite Woman's Faith. Matthew 21 - 28:
 
"Jesus left that place and went away to the district of Tyre and Sidon. Just then a Canaanite woman from that region came out shouting, 'Have mercy on me, Lord, Son of David; my daughter is tormented by a demon.' But he did not answer her at all. And his disciples came and urged him, saying, 'Send her away, for she keeps shouting at us.' He answered, 'I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.' But she came and knelt before him, saying, 'Lord, help me.' HE ANSWERED, 'IT IS NOT FAIR TO TAKE THE CHILDREN'S FOOD AND THROW IT TO THE DOGS.' SHE SAID, 'YES, LORD, YET EVEN THE DOGS EAT THE CRUMBS THAT FALL FROM THEIR MASTER'S TABLE.' Then Jesus answered her, 'Woman, great is your faith! Let it be done for you as you wish,' And her daughter was healed instantly."
