Brief Description of Subject: Two arched windows. Left depicts St. Therese of Liseux, the Little Flower. Medallion above depicts her in glory. Below shows her on her deathbed. Right depicts King Edward the Confessor, of England, holding a church. Top medallion shows him carrying Giles Mitchell, a crippled Irishman. Bottom shows him giving his ring as alms to a pilgrim [really St. John the Evangelist in disguise]. For both these stories, see Caxton's "Golden Legend". Imported from Munich, Germany.
