Brief Description of Subject: Arched window, mostly ornamental, with medallion at top featuring the seal of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Latin cross in center, three flames at left symbolizing the three denominations which, in 1988, merged to form the ELCA [Lutheran Church in America, American Lutheran Church, and Association of Evangelical Lutheran Churches]. Three rings at right are not a symbol of the Most Holy Trinity, but of the local congregations, the synods, and the church-wide organization. This window was commissioned in anticipation of the reunion. Created by Rainbow Resources Art Glass, Inc., of Grand Rapids, MI.
