Subject/Title of Window: Martin Luther Posting the 95 Theses

Brief Description of Subject: Arched window, in three sections, mostly ornamental. Top section features a medallion which shows [can't be seen in picture] Martin Luther nailing the 95 Theses to the church door of Wittenberg, with text reading "Luther posting the 95 theses". While this event was the catalyst for the Reformation, almost all of the theses themselves are perfectly in line with the teaching of the Catholic Church, and were primarily directed against certain corrupt practices of, and the lies peddled by, unscrupulous sellers of indulgences. Church doors were the medieval equivalent of bulletin boards or a newspaper's classified section, and nailing something to one was in no way an act of defiance.
