Subject/Title of Window: Tree of Life

Brief Description of Subject: The theme for this church's decoration is "I Am the Vine, you are the branches". The eight windows of the church depict different trees, literal and symbolical, from Scripture. Each of them have copper ornaments in front of the windows. This window is the Tree of Life (the new one, from Apoc. 22:2, not the one from the Garden of Eden). Fruits are growing on the tree, and birds are feeding. The birds stand for the nations who will be healed by the leaves of the tree. All windows designed by Margaret Bouchez Cavanaugh, of Warren, MI.
