Going, Therefore, Teach All Ye Nations
This quote is taken from Matthew 28:19. It is the commissioning of the apostles on the evening of the Resurrection. The white-bearded man kneeling before Christ is Peter; the beardless young man standing nearby is John. The other apostles are not identifiable. It should be noted that the view shown here is a somewhat romantic representation since neither Christ nor the apostles would ever have worn the costly fabrics and rich brocades depicted here.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.

All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.
