Advent is depicted in the Christmas star that led people to the Babe of Bethlehem, God's greatest gift. A red flowers surrounding the child's head proclaim the eternal love adn beauty which came near to people at teh time of the Nativity. Some have even interpreted the red color as a reminder of teh sacrifice through blood which was made by the birth of God's son. The city symbolizes the place of Jesus's birth adn also the fact that the Creator God came to dwell among men and women where they lived. The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.

All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.
