Brief Description of Subject: Mystic, 1522-1590 The Agony in the Garden St. Catherine is standing and is clothed in the Dominican habit. Her hands are raised showing the stigmata in the palms of her hands. The bottom of the window shows the agony of Jesus in the garden. His head is bowed down and the chalice is shown above him as he asks God to...”Let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt.” (Matt. 26:39) The background of the window is white. Little gold circles border the frame of the entire window. A crossbar goes through the center of each circle making it look as if it is a rosette. There are fifty-three rosettes in the window.
