Brief Description of Subject: This window was given by the Ladies Aid of the Church. The vines of Palestine were celebrated both for luxuriant growth and for the immense clusters of grapes which were sometimes carried on a staff between two men.
About the Humanitarian Concern: Jehovah now instructed Moses. Send spied in to the Land of Canaan. Then they came to what I now known as the valley of Eshcol where they cut down a single cluster of grapes so large that it took two of them to carry it on a pole between them! The Israelis names the valley “Eshcol” at that time (meaning cluster) because of the cluster of grapes they found.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.
All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.
