Building Name: St. Mary's of Redford ChurchCity: Redford
Window Shape: 2 (rectangle)
Subject/Title of Window: Patron Saint of Confessors
Brief Description of Subject: This window is located above a confessional and depicts a Patron Saint of Confessors. This confessor is costumed as a priest and is wearing a biretta and a stole which were prescribed to be worn when granting absolution. The attribute of this confessor is a crucifix. I believe that this is most likely St. Alphonsus of Ligouri pictured when he was a young priest. He is a Patron Saint of Confessors and a crucifix is one of his main attributes.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.
All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.
