Subject/Title of Window: The Cross and the Palm

Brief Description of Subject: The beautiful language of Revelation 7:9 describes a great multitude of people standing before the throne of the Lamb clad in white robes and carrying palm branches in their hands. It is reminiscent of the days long ago, when the children waved palm branches before Jesus as he entered the City of Jerusalem on his way to the cross. This day is forever known as Palm Sunday, and the palm branch has come to stand for victory.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.

All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.
