Subject/Title of Window: The Sunrise

Brief Description of Subject: It was on the fourth day that the Lord created the sun and the moon. The sun was made to give light to the world during the daytime. Each day we greet the morning with the rising of the sun. On the first day of the week, the Lord Jesus rose from the dead: therefore, Sunday is always known as resurrection day, this symbol reminds us of the constancy of God, and the resurrection of Christ.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.

All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.
