Christ left no doubt that those who followed in His Footsteps might suffers severely- that they would surely face score, ridicule, and severe persecution.
Why? Why? Why? We ask.
Just imagine if someone who really lived and completely followed these beatitudes teachings came to live without- to work without how would you react?

Such a person would be so different that the natural reaction of the average person would be to try to eliminate that which silently condemn him. Sinful human natural will try to destroy that which is a rebuke to it.
Therefore, those who profess to adhere to a life consistent with the Beatitudes must be prepared to live by the hatred and the persecution of others.

Historically, Christians have had to face terrible ordeals, savage and brutal treatment, physical and mental torture. Those who swore allegiance to Christ and to His teachings often were put to death.

So our Christian faith is a blood bought faith. We now are so comfortable sit in our church pews and are those who receive the benefits. For all the struggles of such great Christian leader, we are living today in freedom and comparative peace.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.

All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.
