Subject/Title of Window: The Baptism of Jesus
Brief Description of Subject: The shell with the three droplets of water is an ancient symbol of Holy Baptism. Combined with insignia ‘HIS’ (derived from first three Greek letters of the name Jesus), this symbol recalls the baptism of Jesus by John, the event that marked the beginning of Jesus’s public ministry. The three water droplets also remind us of the three persons of the trinity, each of whom was present at this baptism. Upon being baptized, Jesus was empowered by the Spirit for his task, and received His father’s approval. This Empowered and approved. Jesus began his trek to Calvary.
