Brief Description of Subject: The manger of Baby Jesus is a familiar and cherished symbol of the Christmas story. In exchanging the splendor of His heavenly throne for the Son of God committed himself to the establishing of peace between God toward men (Luke 2:14). That babe is the greatest gift mankind has ever received. The cross above the manger tells us the reason God’s son was born. His cradle and cross are inseparably linked, for Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners (1 Timothy 1:15).

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.
All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.
