Subject/Title of Window: Choir of Angels
Brief Description of Subject: Praising God with musical instrument were chosen for the East windows in Church as a prelude to the wall where the new pipe organ will be installed. The instruments chosen are the Celtic harp, the bourdon (drum/tambourines) the flute and lyre, instruments traditionally mentioned in the scriptures and psalms. The colors used in these windows coordinate with the other stained glass windows in the church by the same artist “The Creation” and “The Resurrection”. The Chapel windows were designed to speak of the gifts of various women throughout the history of the Church.
