Six windows spell as in Hebrew from right to left bereshit “In the beginning…each window showing one of the six letters and the seventh one, because it is a day of rest.
Window I
“Now the Earth was unformed and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep and the spirit of God hovered over the efface of the waters, and the God said “Let there be light” and God divided the light from the darkness and God called the light day and the darkness he called night.
The heavy zig zag line dividing the light and dark depicts the dramatic and powerful decrees …Let there be light but the light is different from the later sunlight.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.
All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.
If you have any questions, additions or corrections, or think you can provide better images and are willing to share them, please contact donald20@msu.edu
