Brief Description of Subject: When the top of the anchor is shaped like a cross the symbol is known as an anchor cross. It is beautifully symbolic because of the inference that our faith in Christ is like a sure anchor, holding us steady in the time of the storm. One of the most valuable timber trees, the pine tree, durable and straight grained, is a symbol of the strength and integrity of Bay View Association.
