Subject/Title of Window: Anchor Cross and Crown

Brief Description of Subject: This decorative aisle window was designed to let light into the Church. It is in the shape of a lit candle symbolizing Jesus --- "I am the light of the world," John 8:12.The window features two shields with symbols.

Symbols used:
Anchor cross: symbolizes the hope of eternal life through Jesus --- Hebrews 6:19 - 20 "We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, where Jesus, who went before us, has entered."

Crown: Crown of Righteousness (2 Timothy 5:4), Crown of Glory (1Peter 5:4), Crown of Life (James 1:12), Incorruptible Crown (1Corinthians 9:25), Crown of Rejoicing (1Thesalonians 2:19). All of these names are used for the crown that awaits us in heaven.
