Subject/Title of Window: Crucifixion

Brief Description of Subject: The design in this window symbolizes the central event in all human history: our redemption through Christ’s death on the cross.  The focal point is a large corss, standing on the hill of Golgatha, which become the sign of our redemption and of our Christian faith.  Besides the cross of Christ we notice the smaller crosses of the two thieves.  The lightening in the upper part of the window suggests the events of nature which accompanied the death of Christ.
