Brief Description of Subject: Moses was the greatest leader of Isreal.  Like the patriarchs before him, he hears the call of the Lord: “The angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire, and the bush was burning, yet it was not consumed.” (Ex32).  We notice the green leaves and the tongues of fire shooting up through the bush.  The tablets above symbolize the central event of the Old Testament: Moses receives from God the Ten Commandments and in the same time the covenant is established, “If you follow my commandments, I will be your God and you will be my people.”

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.

All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.

If you have any questions, additions or corrections, or think you can provide better images and are willing to share them, please contact donald20@msu.edu
