Subject/Title of Window: A Reflection of Life

Brief Description of Subject: Memorial window between the Chapel and the Fireside Room. A tribute to one of its late parishoners. One of the design objectives was to coordinate with the existing stained glass at the front of the chapel, which is in the form of a cross. This window echos the color and style of the existing window, and symbolizes warmth and new life. This is achieved in an abstract way, with yellows, blues, and greens representing the sun, earth, sky and vegetation. The windows are functional as well as inspirational; they create a visual separation between the chapel from the Fireside Meeting Room, while letting the light shine through.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.

All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.

If you have any questions, additions or corrections, or think you can provide better images and are willing to share them, please contact donald20@msu.edu
