Brief Description of Subject: From the booklet, "First United Methodist Church, Grand Ledge, Michigan. Walking Tour Guide of the Stained Glass Windows," by C. Bernard Johnson (1994).
The window in the Bell Tower over the outside doorway, has the names of Mr. & Mrs. Thomas W. Brewer, Jr. They were members in 1912.

Thomas West Brewer was born in Howell, Michigan and moved to Grand Ledge around 1910. Thomas learned the printer's trade in Howell at his father's shop where he worked for several years. After he came to Grand Ledge he engaged in business for himself developing his shop known as "The Ledge Job Rooms." The shop was known as a model of neatness and efficiency. He established a reputation for fair dealing and high grade workmanship.

Thomas married Donna Latham on November 11, 1899 and they were the parents of three daughters.
