Brief Description of Subject: Rose portion depicts the arc of the Covenant.  Left panel: Mary kneels, Joseph holds cage with doves, woman with nimbus raises hand in blessing.  Right panel: Simeon holds Christ child over a table on which is a basket of linens.

Left Panel: Mary kneels before Simeon, Joseph behind her holds a cage with doves as sacrificial offerings. In the background a woman raises her hand in blessing.

Right Panel: Simeon holds the Christ child in his arms. In front of him a bsket of linens sitting on a table.

Rose Window above these two panels:
A depiction of the arc of the covenant. This corresponds to Simeon's statement that he has seen the fulfillment of the covenant, he has seen the Savior of Mankind.
