Subject/Title of Window: Assumption of the Blessed Mother
Brief Description of Subject: Shows Mary being taken into heaven. Lower right portion of window shows empty tomb and apostles staring upward.
The rose portion shows a Hand in a Nimbus with rays emitting and with a dove descending.
The Left Panel shows two adoring angles above a seaside village.
The Right Panel shows Mary radiant in a white robe with the Omega symbol embroidered in Gold upon it. She has the Blue Shawl to identify her. There are two cherubs at her feet.
She is above an empty tomb with seven people around it. Two (2) peer into the tomb. The Third the face had been lost and replaced in a window restoration therefore may be out of context. Art work not close to other figures. Four (4) other look up. The tomb itself is also a replacement piece.
