Brief Description of Subject: Designed by Dr. Henry Lee Willet of Philadelphia himself, according to the dedication sermon, but by his employee Columcille Sharkey according to other notes furnished to us. Installed by Mr. Franc Beran of East Detroit [now called Eastpointe]. Donated in appreciation of Delos and Leona Hay. Left hand panel, top: Ship with cross on sail, symbolizing the Church. Left main: Wedding at Cana. Our Lord and Our Lady stand, while servant pours water which has miraculously become wine. Center top: Hand of God. Center main: Agnus Dei, lying down, without banner, upon a throne. Pure streams of water, Tree of Life, towers of the Heavenly Jerusalem [See Apoc. 22:1,2]. Top right: Picture of Jefferson Avenue Presbyterian Church’s tower. Main right: Saint Paul with Saints Priscilla and Aquila. A tent in lower right, to symbolize their trade.
