Building Name: First Reformed Church of Grand Haven

Window Shape: 6 (gothic arched, more than 2 vertical sections)

Subject/Title of Window: I Stand at the Door and Knock

Brief Description of Subject: Scene sometimes also called "Light of the World". Originally the set of windows were non-pictorial, installed 1913, and made by Kokomo Opalescent Glass, of Indiana. In 1945, the center of the South window was replaced by a picture of Our Lord with a staff in His hand knocking on a door with no exterior handle. Center donated by Henry Kooiman in memory of his father Arie Kooiman. A plastic cover protects the exterior. At time we received information [2004], these windows were planned for restoration bu Full Spectrum Stained Glass, of Colon, MI.
12 ft high, the two left windows are 2' 6'' wide, the center one 11', the right one 3'.
