Brief Description of Subject: "A sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured them. Other seeds fell on rocky ground where they had not much soil ... but when the sun rose they were scorched; and since they had no root they withered away. Other seeds fell on good soil and brought forth grain, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He who has ears, let him hear." Matthew 13
The sower throws the seeds into the rich brown furrow. The sun's rays are directed to the earth. In the heavens the birds circle about the sower. The design of this window is a rhythmic as the cycles of nature upon which the parable is based.
