Subject/Title of Window: The Lord's Supper

Brief Description of Subject: "When it was evening, he sat at a table with the twelve disciples; and as they were eating, he said, 'Truly, I say to you, one of you will betray me' ... Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, 'Take eat; this is my body.' And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, 'Drink of it, all of you; for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you I shall not drink again of this fruit of the vine until that day when I drink with you in my Father's kingdom." Matthew 26

Jesus is shown blessing the wine, that his beloved disciples may be thus united in God's love and consecrated to the work of extending the Christian principles of life throughout the world. Judas is unable to look upon the face of Jesus. This disciple has conspired with the Romans to arrest Jesus. The bribe money is already in Judas' hand.

The MSGC is a constantly evolving database. Not all the data that has been collected by volunteers has been sorted and entered. Not every building has been completely documented.

All images in the Index are either born-digital photographs of windows or buildings or are scans of slides, prints, or other published sources. These images have been provided by volunteers and the quality of the material varies widely.

If you have any questions, additions or corrections, or think you can provide better images and are willing to share them, please contact donald20@msu.edu
