Self-denial or sacrifice, Cup, Christ’s passion or suffering, “Can ye drink of the cup of which I drink.” Gethsemane, “If it be possible let this cup pass from me (Crucifixion), nevertheless not my will, but Thine be done.”
Right lancet: Epiphany. The manifestation of Christ to the Gentiles. January 6, Twelfth Night. Three crowns for the three Kings. Star guiding them to the newborn King.
